A local Legion Auxiliary who holds fundraisers and sponsors Badger Girls State, VA Hospitals, Community Blood Drives, Children & Youth Programs, Child Welfare, Junior Activities, National Security Auxiliary Poppy Drive, Horicon American Legion Post 157, Scholarships, Veterans Affairs & Rehab and other community organizations.

Meeting the second Tuesday of each month, 6:30 pm.

Fundraisers  support veterans, our legion, scholarships, Badger Girls, VA Hospitals, Community Blood Drives & other community organizations.
Women are eligible for membership in the Auxiliary if they are themselves a veteran who served honorably or if they fall into one of the following categories:

• wife
• mother
• sister
• daughter
• granddaughter
• great granddaughter
• grandmother
• great grandmother

of an active duty servicemember or veteran who served honorably during any of the eligible war eras.  Step-relatives in the categories above, such as step-mother, step-sister, step-daughter, are also eligible.

Bo's Heavenly Clubhouse' purpose, as stated by its founder, Amanda Hartwig, is "to provide means of help and support to parents coping with the excurciating pain of child loss to our local area and throughout the United States. Our primary endeavor is to offer further financial, mental, and physical support and counsel to parents dealing with the loss of their child and to hopefully alleviate some of the painful heartache. In doing so, we hope to offer some guidance to families through this unimaginable time".

The Horicon Area Foundation is
….. an independent, non-profit, philanthropic trust for the benefit of the community
…..a depository for gifts and funds given by donors, individuals or corporations, to meet community needs
In 1986 the Horicon Community Development Corporation organized and chartered the Foundation through which public spirited citizens could make lasting gifts for the long term needs of the community.
 
The wise distribution of money for community philanthropy is the only goal of the Foundation, which assures donors that gifts received and distributions made from the Foundation are based on the following principles:

• Meeting the greatest local needs in the most constructive way
• Guaranteeing flexibility by adapting to changing conditions if an original gift purpose becomes obsolete.
• Permanent administration of funds under the direction of community leaders serving as trustees.
• Obtaining maximum tax advantages for the donor, the donor’s heirs and estate.
• Perpetuating a Memorial
• Simplified gift-making….A donor simply passes his gift of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate to the Foundation with a letter stating the nature of contribution.

The Horicon Athletic Booster Club strives to:

• Increase community awareness of the positive aspects that develop the student/athlete into a whole person.
• Promote interest in Horicon schools. 
• Provide cash subsidies for the purchase of equipment and capital goods beyond the school budget to improve programs.
• Assist Horicon’s Athletic Department in the development of athletes.
• Provide 3 scholarships to graduating seniors.

Our mission is to keep alive the history of Horicon and to educate the youth on the past, for the future.

We do this right here in Horicon. Our annual "Living History Days" are free to the public and happen during Mother's Day weekend. Please join us at River Bend Park on Saturday, May 9th from 9am - 5pm and Sunday, May 10th from 9am -3pm. 

Don't be scared it will be okay. Join us for our "Haunted History" tours that will take place the last 3 weekends of October. See our Facebook page for times and prices.

Christmas Open House will happen the first 2 Saturday's in Decmber . Please see our Facebook page for times  

The Satterlee Clark House will be open for tours by appointment only. With maintenance and repair costs we ask for a suggested donation of $5 from non-members. We appreciate all our members and non-members. Thank you.

Horicon Marsh Snowmobile Club

The Horicon Marsh Snowmobile Club consists of approximately 50 members that volunteer their time to groom and maintain approximately 15 miles of the Dodge County Snowmobile System in the Horicon Area.
Benefits of membership include:

• Membership in AWSC (Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs) a state organization

• Bingo ~ the second and fourth Sunday’s of the month from 4:30PM to the last call.
